Can I hire Velora as my main wedding photographer?
Velora is designed to complement your wedding photography, not replace it. This allows your day to be documented with greater depth, beauty, and immediacy, while your main photographer leads the coverage exactly as planned.
Can you work alongside my photographer or videographer?
Absolutely. Your wedding team’s rhythm and vision are always respected. Nothing is interrupted, repeated, or staged. Everything flows naturally, allowing you to stay fully present while every meaningful moment is captured with care. If your main team takes a pause, and you’re comfortable with it, a gentle interaction may occasionally be suggested to create a few meaningful photographs. These moments are always optional and guided by what feels natural for you.
Do the photos come edited or retouched?
Your photographs are delivered exactly as they felt in the moment: honest, emotional, and beautifully natural. They arrive straight out of camera (SOOC), using Fujifilm’s signature color science, with no filters, presets, or heavy retouching. Each moment is thoughtfully presented in either color or black & white, depending on what best reflects the emotion of the scene, rather than delivering the same image in multiple versions. For couples who prefer traditional retouching (skin correction, stylized grading, etc.), that option is available as a premium add-on, with extended delivery. Still, most couples fall in love with the immediacy and authenticity of the original images.
Do you shoot family formals?
Family formals remain in the hands of your main photographer, allowing the focus to stay on the candid, unscripted moments happening all around you.
When will the photos be ready?
Your full gallery will be delivered within 24 hours after coverage ends. By the next day, your memories are already waiting in a private online gallery, ready to view, download, and share with the people you love.
Are the images in color or black & white?
Both. Some moments are preserved in color, while others are presented in black & white, depending on the light, mood, and emotion of each scene. Each photograph is intentionally chosen in the format that best reflects how that moment truly felt, rather than delivering the same image in multiple versions.
Do you work with flash or artificial lighting?
Everything is captured using natural and available light whenever possible. This keeps the atmosphere relaxed and unobtrusive, allowing your day to unfold naturally while every genuine moment is preserved with honesty and care.
How and when can I book Velora?
Your date is secured with a 30% deposit, with the remaining balance due one month before your wedding. Most dates open six months in advance, once wedding plans are clearly defined. However, when availability allows, select dates can occasionally be secured up to one year ahead for couples who prefer to plan early.
